Teachers and child educators play a huge part in our children’s upbringing. They are the ones responsible for teaching our little ones not only how to spell and count, but valuable life lessons as well. They spend up to 10 hours a day with our kids and as a result have a huge impact and influence on who they become.
When you find that special teacher who your child absolutely adores, it’s only fitting to give them a special gift to show your appreciation.
The thing about teacher gifts though, you don’t have to go extravagant or expensive to make an impact. Sometimes it is the simplest of gifts or the sweetest little thought that says the biggest thank you.
It’s fair to say, we’ve had to buy one or two teacher gifts in our short time of going through the education system. And with that comes hours of online shopping looking for the perfect gifts outside of the everyday gift. Luckily for you, we’ve jotted some goodies down. Now, you can save yourself some time and maybe even get to drink that coffee you just made while it’s still hot. You're welcome!
I personally love these. They are so simple in their design and message, but they speak volumes to the special person whom you are gifting. Being small in design, they can be clipped to a bag or carry case and your teacher can carry their appreciation gift around with them for years to come. The best part is they are perfect for male or female teachers so you’ve got everyone covered.
It’s no secret that most teachers love their coffee! And who can blame them! Kudos to them for battling 20 - 30 kids all day every day. I have 2 and I’m a wreck. Anyway, it’s not about me. A personalised travel mug for their hot coffee is a great gift that can also be used long after the school year is over.
How super cute is this bunny from My Teddy! A personalised teddy bear or animal friend is such a sweet gift from a little one to their teacher, especially a pre-schooler. The hardest part will be convincing your Mr. or Miss to hand the bear over! You can add a short personalised message to the bears jumper so your teacher will always know who gifted them their new friend.
A key ring is always a good idea as they are practical and make great gifts for any teacher. What I like about these key chains though is their hidden message and meaning. It just gives a little more thought to the key ring gift. These are a great option for male teachers too, plus they also have a more feminine style.
And last but not least, if you want to stay safe but thoughtful in your teacher gift this year, then you can’t go past a personalised coffee mug. Obviously, there are many places where you can get these done. But my personal favourite is Moonpig as you can even add a photo onto the mug. They have some really nice designs which are all included in the price and it's all done online. Pop in a thank you card in with your order and you are home and hosed. They deliver to your door within a few days.
So there you have it. A list of unique teacher gifts that are sure to send your child’s teacher straight to the tissue box with tears of appreciation.
